Rooster Chantico and their slave, Sol Vorare, have engaged in a 24/7 Master/slave dynamic since 2021. They are both trans, polyamorous, and neurodivergent kinksters that have found a home in the Leather community. Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, they dedicate themselves to education in kink practices, queer history, and mutual aid.
Master
Rooster Chantico (they/them) is a latine, non-binary, Leather Dyke who shares about their journey as a gender non-conforming individual struggling with ADHD and C-PTSD. Coming into Leather has helped them reconnect with their spirituality and heritage, sparking a desire to celebrate the diversity of kink and Leather. They work with Melanin Munch MI and other local communities to highlight queer and trans people of the global majority and their experiences in kink and leather.

Sol Vorare (they/them) is an autistic, genderfluid, lesbian slave whose true passion belongs to their Leather heart and the strength they find in their surrender. Through their experiences with depression and autistic burnout, they've cultivated a strong sense of identity and enjoy helping others explore their own. Through volunteer work in local groups, they support their kink and Leather community by helping maintain places to socialize with and learn from like-minded people.

No Really I Can't: Executive Dysfunction as a D-type
What can a d-type do when they can’t make the decisions? Or be the authority of themselves, much less a submissive? What happens when you're unable to do what you want most in the world? You’re not lazy. You’re dealing with something that can be detrimental. In this class we talk about what the paralyzing force of executive dysfunction can do and how we can mitigate its effects in our dynamics and everyday lives.

When we consider dynamics, we think of concepts like discipline, organization, and protocol. For those who have Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or similar experiences, these concepts can be difficult to implement. In this class we discuss ADHD’s intersections with dynamics and share strategies to make your traits and condition work for you, not against you, from both sides of the slash.

Taking the Guesswork out of Anticipatory Service
For many neurodivergent folks, anticipatory service is a tantalizing aspect of authority transfer that remains frustratingly inaccessible. However, ND individuals on both sides of the slash can not only partake in anticipatory service, but use it as an accessibility tool and a form of self and interdependent care within the dynamic. In this class we cover how to incorporate this type of service into ND Dynamics to better overcome barriers, affirm roles, and achieve alignment.

Suffering pain or discomfort is often seen as the ultimate gift in power exchange dynamics. For many neurodivergent individuals, discomfort isn’t a scarcity to be glorified but an inescapable state of being. How can we make a gift of something constantly present, that takes so much from us? In this class we'll discuss how we can use our sensitivities to feed dynamics, explore unique possibilities for distress, and remind ourselves that all of our suffering is worthy.

Exploring Sadism
Our sadist journeys often begin with a mix of shame and pleasure. As we begin to discover what makes us feel good, we push against beliefs that we are evil for wanting to cause pain. Even when consent is given, it can be difficult to let go and experience the joys that come from sadism. In this class, we consider how we can overcome these inner influences and talk about methods to explore sadistic play.

Sex magic has long been a way to empower oneself through the uses of the body. Combined with deity work this is further done through dedications and offerings of pleasure. But what of sacrifices and suffering? Playing with sadism, denial, or catharsis might be more in tune with your deity’s desires. In this class we discuss how to extend magical practices into kink and even incorporate deity work into dynamics.

Cunning Linguistics: The Basics of Dirty Talk
Like many other toys, dirty talking requires intimate knowledge of our partner’s desires and fantasies in order to be effective. In this class, let's lay the foundation, emphasizing that dirty talking includes more than just double entendres and innuendos. From understanding your partner’s preferences to learning how tone, language, and nonverbal skills come into play, participants receive a well-rounded introduction, an opportunity to ask questions, and a chance to practice.Details: Includes handout.

Cigar Series
Our cigar series is a three part intensive that includes class participation, cigar smoking, and live demonstrations. While these are best seen in sequence and in person, we are able to accommodate for indoor/non-smoking venues for our 101 and 201 class.
Don't Be an Ash-hole: Etiquette and Basics of Cigarplay (101)
Cigars socials have a ritualistic and sacred place in the kink and Leather scene. As a highly regarded space in the community, it can feel intimidating and inaccessible to beginners. This 101 class is designed to help those interested gain the necessary foundations on cigar anatomy, tools and accessories, and an overview of community etiquette and culture. It is an invitation for those curious about cigars to learn the basics and feel comfortable joining.

Whether only caring for the cigar of a single special someone or serving every person attending a social, the ritual of cigar service is an especially desirable skill. Making it a safe and fulfilling experience can be complicated if you’re not prepared. This 201 class will provide the tools needed to negotiate cigar and ashtray services from both top and bottom perspectives.
